My wife and I had a wonderful time at the 40th reunion.  The venue was great as were you, my classmates.  It was so great seeing you all again. Thanks to the reunion committee for putting on a wonderful event.  Your efforts are greatly appreciated. And Tina's singing was awesome!

I currently work for PayPal in Hunt Valley MD.  I am coming up on my 8th anniversary and worked the first 4 years in the Chandler office and then transferred late 2014 to Maryland.  I enjoy living on the East Coast and attempting to travel as much as I can to places that are close by.   I am widowed since August 2009 and have 3 grandchildren from my daughter Melissa and 3 grand beagles from my son Matthew.  Matthew is currently 31 and Melissa is 29. I am looking forward to seeing folks at our 40th reunion.  Hard to believe it has been that long as it seems like just yesterday.

I just happened on this site today.  I didn't know it existed.  I only knew the school didn't exist anymore. I doubt anyone remembers me.  I kept to myself a lot, but I played flute in orchestra and jazz band.

Thank you Bruce Terman for taking me to this website, and walking me through all the great photo's of everyone who attended the 30 year reunion. I am so very disappointed that I did not attend this event last October, but once again it was great to see the photo's and chat about what everybody is doing 30 years later.

What a blast! It was so great to see everyone.  I only had a so-so time at the 10-year so, as a result, I didn't attend the 20-year.  I now know I must have missed out on a lot of fun because really had a good time at the 30-year.  Everyone looked great!

"Buzz", my best bud from grade school.  It was really special to see you again.  It really meant a lot to me.  We need to hook up once in a while.  You've got my card so give me a call.  I owe you a cold one.

Danny and Tina, it's always great to see you two.  And it's been way too long.  We'll have to get together with Schultz's and Wiegand's.

Gary, we go back to grade school too.  I really enjoyed seeing you again and talking baseball or, more specifically, "coaching youth baseball".  If you ever decide to get into the technical side of pitching, look me up.  It will help you help the young pitchers you work with and it may help you move up to the high school level if you desire.  I'd be happy to teach you what I teach - it's some of the best information available.

Jimmy, Kyle, Bruce and Larry - my basketball brothers.  It was awesome to see you guys again.  Man, it's been so long.  We spent so much time together on the court, on the bus rides and in the locker room that you guys were like a second family.

Rod and Skip - I really enjoyed seeing you guys and talking to you.  I only wish you had come back the second night so I could have spent more time with you.  Regardless, it was great seeing you.

Jeff, my fellow high jumper.  It was great to see you again.  I have fond memories of you, me and Ron competing.  If you can still dunk like you say, that's pretty impressive.

Cindy, my senior prom date, it was really nice to see you again.  I don't think I've talked to you since high school.  But I really enjoyed talking with you at the reunion and hearing about your business and your 4 year old.  Like I said, you haven't changed a bit - you look great.

To all the Navajo Elementary alumni, I really enjoyed seeing you all and talking to some of you.

Special thanks to the SHS faculty that showed up.  While I didn't have class with any of you, it was something special that you attended.  It was great to see Mrs. Caskey again.

To everyone who shared a few words or even just a smile, thanks!  You helped make the weekend special.

And thanks to the reunion committee for your efforts.  You put on a great event and I had a great time.

Finally, thanks to my beautiful wife Kathy for attending my reunion with me.  Although we both attended Navajo Elementary and Scottsdale High (she is class of '80), we never knew each other back then.  So it was really special having her with me at my reunion.

Sincerely,
Roger Tomas

PS - For those of you who took pictures, I hope you will consider posting them on this website in the Photo Albums section.  I look forward to seeing them and I'll say thanks, in advance, for sharing them.

Well we sure did have a good time in the desert last weekend October 2008.  It was good to see everyone and reminisce about all the wild times we had years ago.  Thank God, I can still remember some of our youthful escapades.   I guess things do change but rather slowly for most.  If any of you are in Chicago, please call or e-mail me.  I promise to show you how the sun rises in this great city.  I visit Phoenix often and would like to keep in touch, so let me know.  Take care all.

Hi Everyone,
My husband and I had a wonderful time catching up with my fellow beavers - many fond memories and friendly faces.  A special thank you to the reunion committee for pulling together a wonderful reunion.  It was obvious that a lot of time and planning went into the event.  Take care and thank you all!

To my fellow Beavers,

Have a great time at the reunion!  Unfortunately, I just learned about it.  Ironic that it would happen the day of the reunion!

I hope you are all happy and healthy and have a great time.

Feel free to drop me a line some time.  Would love to touch base with the old classmates.

Enjoy the reunion!

The reunion is on a busy weekend for me but if you make it to the Friday cocktail hour, please enjoy a Sagatiba cocktail. Its an exciting new spirit that I'm working for now in the valley. Gary Saunders will have some free drink tokens for Sagatiba drinks and please enjoy the food that I've sponsored for the night. Take care

Hello from Springfield, Illinois.  I cannot make the reunion.  My youngest son is playing college football and I refuse to miss a game.  I am still divorced and never remarried.  I have three wonderful sons.  Two are in college and one gave me the title of grandma last year.  Occupation is as an HR Manager at SIU School of Medicine.  Enjoy your weekend.

Got a call regarding the reunion. I hope to be able to make it. I'm not sure if the stagecoach is still running between Nebraska and Arizona that time of year, but if it is ,I'll try to be on it.

Take care,
