What a blast! It was so great to see everyone. I only had a so-so time at the 10-year so, as a result, I didn't attend the 20-year. I now know I must have missed out on a lot of fun because really had a good time at the 30-year. Everyone looked great!
"Buzz", my best bud from grade school. It was really special to see you again. It really meant a lot to me. We need to hook up once in a while. You've got my card so give me a call. I owe you a cold one.
Danny and Tina, it's always great to see you two. And it's been way too long. We'll have to get together with Schultz's and Wiegand's.
Gary, we go back to grade school too. I really enjoyed seeing you again and talking baseball or, more specifically, "coaching youth baseball". If you ever decide to get into the technical side of pitching, look me up. It will help you help the young pitchers you work with and it may help you move up to the high school level if you desire. I'd be happy to teach you what I teach - it's some of the best information available.
Jimmy, Kyle, Bruce and Larry - my basketball brothers. It was awesome to see you guys again. Man, it's been so long. We spent so much time together on the court, on the bus rides and in the locker room that you guys were like a second family.
Rod and Skip - I really enjoyed seeing you guys and talking to you. I only wish you had come back the second night so I could have spent more time with you. Regardless, it was great seeing you.
Jeff, my fellow high jumper. It was great to see you again. I have fond memories of you, me and Ron competing. If you can still dunk like you say, that's pretty impressive.
Cindy, my senior prom date, it was really nice to see you again. I don't think I've talked to you since high school. But I really enjoyed talking with you at the reunion and hearing about your business and your 4 year old. Like I said, you haven't changed a bit - you look great.
To all the Navajo Elementary alumni, I really enjoyed seeing you all and talking to some of you.
Special thanks to the SHS faculty that showed up. While I didn't have class with any of you, it was something special that you attended. It was great to see Mrs. Caskey again.
To everyone who shared a few words or even just a smile, thanks! You helped make the weekend special.
And thanks to the reunion committee for your efforts. You put on a great event and I had a great time.
Finally, thanks to my beautiful wife Kathy for attending my reunion with me. Although we both attended Navajo Elementary and Scottsdale High (she is class of '80), we never knew each other back then. So it was really special having her with me at my reunion.
Sincerely,
Roger Tomas
PS - For those of you who took pictures, I hope you will consider posting them on this website in the Photo Albums section. I look forward to seeing them and I'll say thanks, in advance, for sharing them.
My wife and I had a great time. It was nice to see so many new faces from the 20 year. I hope we can get togather in five years. Best Wishes to all.
Well we sure did have a good time in the desert last weekend October 2008. It was good to see everyone and reminisce about all the wild times we had years ago. Thank God, I can still remember some of our youthful escapades. I guess things do change but rather slowly for most. If any of you are in Chicago, please call or e-mail me. I promise to show you how the sun rises in this great city. I visit Phoenix often and would like to keep in touch, so let me know. Take care all.
Hi Everyone,
My husband and I had a wonderful time catching up with my fellow beavers - many fond memories and friendly faces. A special thank you to the reunion committee for pulling together a wonderful reunion. It was obvious that a lot of time and planning went into the event. Take care and thank you all!

Hello from Springfield, Illinois. I cannot make the reunion. My youngest son is playing college football and I refuse to miss a game. I am still divorced and never remarried. I have three wonderful sons. Two are in college and one gave me the title of grandma last year. Occupation is as an HR Manager at SIU School of Medicine. Enjoy your weekend.
Hi everyone, hope all is well in your worlds. Don't know if can make it or not, but maybe the plans I have for that weekend will change. Missed the 20 and would love to see everyone this time around. Go Beavers!
